We are not a check-the-box, destination-focused, adventure travel company. We design our Ventures around landscapes, ancestral survival skills and transformational experiences important to who you are and who you aspire to become. We don’t visit places and people; we live with them.

What we can say is that our Ventures begin in the North American wilderness, whether that’s the Great Bear Rainforest of the Pacific Northwest, the desert sagelands where the last wild horses roam or the ancient waterways of the Great Lakes. Let us know where the wild calls you.

WHAT WE DO

The activities we offer range from profound meditative experiences to the adrenaline rush of extreme sports. Some of these include: rafting-building to rock-climbing, breath work to free diving, corporate team building to ancestral survival skills, tracking animals to invisibility training, horseback riding to primitive archery, basketry to medicinal plant remedies; all of which are designed around our passion for adventure, forgotten life skills, and the magic of interspecies connection and communication. When you book a Venture with us, you will receive our detailed Activity List for the landscape you choose. The wild has something to share for everyone.

Our commitment to quality, the value placed on the knowledge and lived experiences of our guides, the relationships we have with local communities, and the excellence of our handcrafted furnishings, carries a cost our guests are happy to pay.

Though our Ventures take us far from the familiarity of home, the unexpected wild luxuries, personal touches, curated amenities, trip enhancements, and nature-inspired spa treatments will bring these worlds together and become treasured memories.

• First Step – Contact us  to request a booking or inquire more about our Ventures.
• Choose Your Venture – We have Mapped Ventures or fully-customized Uncharted Ventures.
• Initial Consultation – Meet with our Founders to share your dreams, goals, concerns, and big life questions.
• Design Phase – This phase will begin with an upfront design fee that will be credited towards your Venture. Our Design and Guide Teams will work with you, your personal assistant or travel advisor to create your one-of-a-kind Venture. We will share our unique design elements, trip enhancements, lodging choices, and a comprehensive list of activities and skills to choose from. Mapped Ventures do not usually require a design phase fee.
• The Preparation – Unless you are joining a Mapped Venture, this process takes time – weeks or even months – depending on the complexity, budget, and activities planned. Our team will set up logistics, handcraft details, and build your wilderness home. During this stage, your journey will be held with a 35% deposit.
• Pre-Trip Support – As your travel dates near, we will mail you a personalized Welcome Gift Package and make sure you are prepared for your Venture.
• Your Venture – This is your rite of passage into the Wild.
• Post-Trip – You will receive a customized Integration and Thank You Package, including a special memory box of images taken by our photographer.
