The mighty rivers, towering forests and beaver-crafted wetlands still whisper stories of birch bark wigwams and bone fish hooks.
The area is a labyrinth of winding streams, traditional paddling routes and primordial granite outcroppings that make up the Canadian Shield, one of the oldest surfaces on Earth and older than life on land. Come explore this ancient landscape, culture and heritage that has shaped not only a people and a way of life, but the survival, success and history of a country.
